Once a farm building, a sometime hovel and bothy for Dad’s Army, the Cottage is now available to walkers and grockles.. It may be booked by the night, for short breaks or by the week. It has two bedrooms, sleeping up to three people in quiet, unassuming comfort.The Holiday Cottage is tucked away in a secluded spot in Market Weighton just a mile from the Wolds Way, and a couple of hundred yards from the Hudson Way track which crosses the Wolds Way. Your feet need barely touch tarmac to get here making it excellent accommodation for walkers.
If you want to use the Cottage as a base from which to walk more than one section of the Wolds Way, you can arrange with us to be transported to or from a pickup point. Alternatively, or in addition, why not use the Cottage as a base from which to visit York, Beverley and Hull either by car or bus. The coast is brilliant, but you would really need a car to explore it.
